Bloom Women’s Wellness is more than a clinic based out of Urbandale, Iowa. It’s an integrative women’s wellness practice built on a simple idea: women deserve care that treats the whole person, not just a set of symptoms. Founded by Madison “Madi” Sweet, LISW, Bloom brings together mental health and counseling services, dietitian support, and psychological testing under one roof.
Bloom is a woman owned business built to serve women in its community, and that mission has always been personal for Madi. She came in with a clear vision for what she wanted her clinic’s online presence to look like and feel like. Our job was to bring the technical and strategic expertise to make that vision real.
Turning a Vision Into Something Cohesive
Madi already knew what she wanted Bloom to feel like online. The challenge was turning that point of view into a digital presence that felt unified from top to bottom.
The site had good bones to start with. The brand colors and fonts Madi loved were already in place. Our work was about building on that foundation. We added visual depth, sharpened the structure, and made it easier for visitors to find the care they came looking for.
That meant:
- Building a true brand system. We defined Bloom’s typography. EB Garamond for headings, Abel for eyebrows and subheadings, Arial for body text and button. We locked in a consistent color palette, and standardized button styles so every page felt like part of the same brand, not just the homepage.
- Carrying that polish through every page. Team bios, service pages, and every corner of the site needed to feel as considered as the homepage did.
- Adding elevated visual details. Custom layout work inside Divi’s Code modules gave us things like offset image effects and grid based two column layouts. The kind of detail that doesn’t come out of a template.
- Rebuilding the navigation. A cleaner, more structured system that makes it easy to find the right page and the right kind of care.
The result is a site that doesn’t just present information. It feels intentional, page after page, in the same way Madi built her practice.
The Challenge
As Bloom grew, its website needed to grow with it. That meant tackling a full list of needs at once:
- A complete redesign and rebuild on WordPress and Divi that actually reflected Bloom’s brand and warmth
- Clear, easy to navigate content covering mental health services, dietitian support, psychological testing, and bios for a growing roster of clinicians
- Content structured to support search visibility, so the women searching for this kind of care could actually find Bloom
- A launch that wouldn’t disrupt Bloom’s existing traffic or patient experience
- A foundation for e-commerce, since Bloom Essentials (Bloom’s supplement line) needed to run on a Shopify backend
What We Delivered
Our work with Bloom covered the full range of a website build and the strategy behind it.
We designed and built a custom WordPress and Divi site around Bloom’s brand system, using the fonts, colors, and warm, approachable identity that matches what it feels like to actually walk into the clinic. We rewrote and reorganized content across every page, from mental health services to dietitian support to psychological testing to individual team bios, so visitors could quickly find the right provider and the right care.
On the SEO side, we built the on-page foundation alongside technical SEO work, guided by real traffic data, so Bloom’s strongest pages kept driving visibility while new and refreshed pages were built with search performance in mind from day one.
Launch day mattered too. We handled it as an in-platform page swap rather than a disruptive migration, which protected Bloom’s existing organic traffic while introducing the redesigned experience.
And the work didn’t stop at launch. From redesigning key pages like Women’s Services, to cleaning up outdated content, to building out the Bloom Essentials e-commerce experience, our partnership with Bloom has continued well past the initial rollout.
In Her Words
What made this project special wasn’t just the deliverables. It was the partnership. Madi stayed closely engaged throughout, and her reaction to the work said it all.
“KRISTA I AM SO OBSESSED I COULD CRY. That is my exact vision and you are nailing it. Absolute perfection, truly.”
“Thank you so much for moving so quickly on these updates! It is incredibly appreciated over here, and we’re so grateful for how responsive and proactive you’ve been throughout this entire process… We appreciate you so much and are grateful to have you as part of the Bloom team behind the scenes!”
The Bigger Picture
Bloom Women’s Wellness shows what happens when a business owner with a strong vision partners with a team that can turn that vision into something strategic, functional, and built to be found. Madi knew what she wanted her clinic to feel like online: approachable, credible, centered on women’s care. Our job was to build the structure, content, and technical foundation to make that vision not just look right, but actually work, for Bloom’s patients and for Bloom’s growth.
